History

Birkdale Panelbeaters Ltd commenced trading in 1998 in our original premises in Beachhaven Road relocating to new purpose-built premises at 20 Bay Park Place in May 2001.
Originally trading as a sole trader ‘GB Panelbeaters’, the company was established when a long-term future for the business was planned and the original premises in Beachhaven Rd located in August 1998.

Our Team

Glenn and Louise Bloomfield (late) are joint owners of Birkdale Panelbeaters Ltd.
Glenn completed his apprenticeship at a local panel shop, passing his Trade Certificate in 1985. With 25 years ‘in the trade’ Glenn is well versed in all aspects from small rust jobs to large smash and structural repairs.
Our customers value the high standards Glenn has set for both himself and his staff. He believes customer satisfaction to be a major key to the success and long term future of the company.
Assisting Glenn is our qualified tradesman Jardine Kelly. Jardine has been with the company 7 years. He has full knowledge of the running of the shop and competently steps in when Glenn has to be away. Jardine has fantastic enthusiam for his trade and goes that extra mile for our customers, consistintly upgrading his qualifactions.
In charge of our Paint Shop is Anthony Davids who has over 20 years experience. Anthony has great pride in his finished work and to keep this he regulary updates with paint/blending and Texture courses.
